Last Monday was Earth Day 2019—always a good day to take a step back and find some perspective on where we fit in the world. To help position us in time and space, on the ground and in the air, we’ve dedicated this post to the art and science of mapping the air we breathe.

Mapping the air is a complicated challenge and ongoing labour of love for the entire Plume Labs team. The last 6 months have brought major breakthroughs for crowdsourced, collaborative maps and we’re edging ever closer to being able to share the first ones with you in the months to come. A special thanks to our Flow community for your hard work, patience and dedication to the cause.
